THEREFORE, SINCE WE HAVE A GREAT HIGH PRIEST WHO HAS ASCENDED INTO HEAVEN,

JESUS THE SON OF GOD, LET US HOLD FIRMLY TO THE FAITH WE PROFESS

How good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity

THANKFUL FOR BODY AND SOUL MINISTRIES

Rev. Larry Browder

In Psalms 100:4, the psalmist says, “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him and bless His name.”

During this Thanksgiving season I am thankful for many things, the greatest of which is my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who came to this earth in the form of man and ultimately gave His life so that I might have eternal life. I am thankful that is available for all who will come to Him in faith believing that the promise is the same to all.

Romans 10:9, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” I praise God for that promise.

During the past eight years I have witnessed that happen many times during my visits to Belize.  It is most amazing to see God change a heart and make that individual a candidate for heaven. That would not have happened around Roaring Creek if Body and Soul had not been a place established in 1995 by the vision of Ralph and Penny Digman. I would like to thank them for being obedient to that call.

Endless numbers of people have followed over the years and have caught the vision that the people around Roaring Creek and miles beyond have the same needs as all mankind- physical and spiritual. The physical need has been met by many who have come to address the medical, food, educational and clothing needs.  I can’t help thinking of villages far and wide who have benefited by volunteers who have left the comfortable confines at home and answered the call  to come and be used to meet the needs as well as to minister to the other needs that exist.

I am reminded as the words of Jesus ring in my ears as he spoke in Mark 10:45, “For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give His life a ransom for many”.  Yes, Jesus is our ultimate example and once again I am thankful that many have listened and responded to the call to “Go”, touch lives via

the many ways already mentioned and to share with them how Jesus gave His life so that they could have the greatest gift of all - eternal life. To God be the glory for all that has been done and when we see Him face to face one day we can say, thanks for saving us and giving us direction to be blessed and blessing others along the way!

Yes, thanks to Body and Soul and all that has been done since it began, for the many who have come to serve.  Only in heaven one day will the extent of this labor of love be made known. I thank God for giving me the opportunity to witness His power in changing lives for eternity. Could I say again, to God be the glory!

                                         DO YOU KNOW GOD?

Ex 8:11....   that thou mayest know that there is none like unto the Lord our God..

Ex 9:14.....  that thou mayest know that there is none like Me in all the earth..

Ex 10:2.....  my signs which I have done among them, that ye may know

how that I Am the Lord..

Ex 12:12...  and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment; I Am the Lord..

LOOK UP!

Tonight,  I am in Cobourgh, Ontario, Canada.

It has been raining for the past two days, and

it is cold enough to snow.

In two weeks, I will be in Sao Paulo, Brazil,

where it is early Spring.

I am amazed that 1/2 of the world experiences

Christmas in mid-summer,

with no knowledge of snow at that holiday.

What a wonderful God we serve to create

such a world of wonders,

and the BEST is yet to come!

"Eye hath not seen, ear hath not heard,

neither has it entered into the heart of man"

what our God has in store for those who know His Son as their Savior.

I am waiting for the Sound of the Trumpet and the Call of my Lord,

telling me it's time to go home.

Look up, for our redemption is drawing nigh!

  PROMISES OF GOD

Exodus 6: 2 - 8 (NIV)

God also said to Moses:

I am the Lord.....

I have heard....

I have remembered my covenant....

I am the Lord...

I will bring you out from under the yoke....

I will free you from being slaves....

I will redeem you with an outstretched

 arm.....

I will take you as my own people.

And I will be your God

You will know that I am the Lord your God...

I am the Lord..

Will you trust God today with the very same promises for your life

that God gave to Moses and the Israelites?  The same promises

are true today.

What will it take for a person to come back to God?

What does God have to do?

What does the individual have to do?

The way back to God can be summarized in a single word - Repentance!

However, it must also be remembered that before there can be repentance

there must also be conviction and confession.

In simple terms, conviction is God's method of letting us know something

is terribly wrong in our relationship with Him.

Confession is agreeing with God that the something which is terribly wrong

in our relationship with Him is sin.

Repentance, subsequently, is the turning away from our sin and turning to God.

An Old Testament example of this is found in the book of Hosea. The prophet

of the Lord said to the people, "O Israel, return unto the Lord thy God; for

thou hast fallen by thine iniquity (conviction).

Take with you words (confession), and turn to the Lord;

Say unto Him, take away all iniquity (repentance) and receive us graciously"

Hosea 14:1-2

Conviction, confession and repentance; that is the way back to God.

Moses was not perfect and God used him in a tremendous way.

We are not perfect.  But God has a perfect plan for

             our lives.

May we clearly see that God can use

our imperfections to fulfil His perfect Will...

"THE REDEMPTION OF RUTH"

MAN IS NOT THE VICTIM OF HIS CIRCUMSTANCES, BUT HE IS A VICTIM

OF HIS CHOICES.  YOU CAN CHOOSE TO BE A VICTOR IN CHRIST, OR

YOU CAN CHOOSE TO BE A VICTIM WITHOUT CHRIST.

YOU CAN CHOOSE DELIVERANCE OR DEFEAT, JOY OR JUDGMENT,

BLESSING OR BACKSLIDING, LIFE OR DEATH, BETHLEHEM OR MOAB.

JUST REMEMBER, THE CHOICES YOU MAKE DETERMINE THE LIFE YOU

LIVE OR THE DEATH YOU DIE...ALSO, REMEMBER, THAT THE CHOICES

YOU MAKE VERY WELL MAY DETERMINE THE FUTURE OF OTHERS, EVEN

YOUR OWN FAMILY.

THE CHOICE IS SIMPLE. IT IS THE SAME CLEAR AND SIMPLE CHOICE

OFFERED TO ISRAEL WHEN JOSHUA SAID, "CHOOSE YOU THIS DAY

WHOM YOU WILL SERVE"  JOSHUA 24:15.  THE CHOICE IS YOURS.

MAKE IT CAREFULLY.  WILL IT BE THE BREAD OF BETHLEHEM OR

THE MISERIES OF MOAB?

Sometimes we need to ask God to remove all the dead and ugly

that is within us to be replaced by His Fruit of the Spirit.  And when He

does that, ask Him to reveal that dead and ugly...

Sometimes we hold onto dead when we don't realize we have been,

or more often, when we don't want to acknowledge we have it...

Ask Him today to take away your dead and ugly.

Then let Him.  Don't play tug of war with Him.

Ralph N. Digman was the founder of Body & Soul Ministries. Early on October 16, 2017, he saw the face of Jesus and it took his breath away. He is now at the feet of his Father. Ralph touched so many people both in the U.S. and in Belize. He was a mighty servant of our Lord.  Please pray especially for the love of his life, Penny.

If you wish to honor Ralph, Penny has asked that a donation be made in Ralph's memory to Body & Soul Ministries, P.O. Box 2339, Church Hill, TN 37642.

Rest in Peace good and faithful servant.  We all miss you!
